💚 My Why
I created This Thing Called Wellness not from a place of having it all together—but from the quiet, tender places I had to walk through just to keep going.
My messy middle didn’t start in my twenties—it came in my 40s. I was 42 when I had a mental break that shifted everything. I had spent years living with anxiety, depression, and the deep emotional fatigue that comes from constantly showing up for everyone else while silently falling apart inside.
My healing didn’t come quickly. It came in pauses. In breakdowns. In the moments I finally gave myself permission to rest, say no, and stop pretending I was okay.
This Thing Called Wellness was born from that place—what I call the middle space. The part of life that’s messy, uncertain, and full of questions. But it’s also the space where transformation begins.
I’m not here to promise perfection. I’m here to offer support, encouragement, and soulful resources for women—especially those over 40—who are ready to reconnect with themselves, gently and without guilt.
Through my podcast, the Wellness Shoppe, coaching, and offerings to come, I want to remind you:
💚 You’re not behind.
💚 You’re not too much or not enough.
💚 You’re still becoming.
And so am I. I’m still healing. Still rediscovering who I’m becoming.
It’s a constant journey of finding yourself again—and you are worth it.
My faith has kept me grounded through the darkest seasons. Even when I didn’t have the words, I had God. That steady whisper of peace and purpose has shaped how I show up—for myself, and now, for you.
“When you stand and share your story in an empowering way, your story will heal you and your story will heal somebody else.”
~Iyanla Vanzant
This is my why.
To hold space for healing.
To help women breathe again.
To walk with you—one mindful, grace-filled moment at a time.
Love ya, girl 💚
